THE CARING TEAM MINISTRY is looking for caring hearts to join our VISITING TEAM. Our goal is to visit and encourage those in our church family who are unable to attend services due to illness, age, or other circumstances. We encourage each person to have a partner, following the example of Jesus sending His disciples out two by two. Together, we can share prayer, fellowship, and remind our shut-ins that they are loved and not forgotten.

If you feel called to be a blessing in this ministry, please let us know. A simple visit, a kind word, and prayer can make a big difference.

“Two are better than one…” – Ecclesiastes 4:9

Text (618) 889-6577 if you would like to be part of the VISITING TEAM!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…..If you notice that someone is out of church for an extended period of time, has been sick, or for whatever reason hasn’t been to church, please let us know. It really takes the whole church working together. The TEAM is working hard not to let people slip through, but sometimes it happens. We never want anyone to feel like Lone Oak doesn’t care because we sincerely do. Do you know someone who needs a card or a visit? Text (618) 889-6577 and let us know.

Are you getting emails from church? If not, please call or text Donna Moore with your email address and she will get you added: (618) 521-4772.

Do you have an address, phone number or name change? Text Vickie Plumlee (618) 889-6577 so she can update the online directory.

Here are three address/phone number changes that have been made to the online directory, but you might want to make the change in your paper directory copy also.
