What We Believe
We are a Bible-believing church with Christ at the center of everything we do. Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture, shaped by the gospel, and shared with joy.
We Believe:
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God
Jesus Christ is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God
His death, burial, and bodily resurrection secure our salvation
A new birth through Christ is essential for eternal life
Jesus is coming again to gather His Church
We are called to fulfill the Great Commission
Our goal is to be a church like the one in Acts — Christ as our head, His Word as our guide, and His love at the center of all we do.

What Is Salvation?
The most important question any of us can ask is: “Do I know Jesus as my Savior?” The good news of the gospel is simple, powerful, and for everyone.
At Lone Oak, we believe salvation is a free gift offered by God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Below are five key truths from Scripture that show the path
to eternal life:
1. We Are All Sinners
“There is none righteous, no, not one.” – Romans 3:10
No one is perfect. We all fall short of God’s standard — and we all need a Savior.
2. Sin Separates Us from God
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
Sin is anything that displeases God. Without forgiveness, we remain separated from Him.
3. Sin Brings Death — But There’s Hope
“The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus
our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
Jesus paid the penalty for our sins through His death on the cross and offers
us life.
4. Salvation Is Through Faith Alone
“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that
God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9–10
Believe in your heart. Confess Jesus as Lord. Trust in His finished work.
5. You Can Receive This Gift Today
No ritual. No checklist. Just faith in Christ and surrender to Him as Lord.
If you have questions or would like to talk with someone about your relationship with Jesus, we would love to hear from you.
