NO CHILDREN’S CHURCH TODAY ‍ ‍Children's Church (ages 4–6th grade) Held during Morning Worship in the Fellowship Hall.

Welcome Pastor Corey Black, wife Marylynn, sons Kolton, 6 and Noah, 18 months!

Pastor Black will be preaching during the morning service. This evening we will set aside time for the congregation to get to know him better and to meet his family.

Following these events, today after evening service, everyone except the members will be asked to leave and the church will be voting on the candidate.

The Big Creekers will be leaving on Sunday, June 7th. They would like to take hygiene items with them to give to the teenage boys and girls. Below is a list of items they need if you would like to donate.

Also, if you would like to write a prayer or note of encouragement for each day they serve, Monday through Friday, for a total of five cards, please pick up an envelope on the table in foyer and the name will be inside.

Both the hygiene items and prayer/encouragement cards need to be brought to the church by Wednesday, June 3rd.

The Herrin Junior High Girls’ Basketball Team were State Champs and had the opportunity to go to the State Capital. Our very own Emma Patalano was on the Team! Way to go Emma!

  • Mike Elders will have a medical induced treadmill test in 2 weeks then in 2 weeks an ablation

  • Remember the family of Sheila Wynn Billingsley - (This is Eric & Terri Cagle’s daughter’s mother-in-law)

  • Pam Underwood’s dad, Don Hernbeck, has been moved to a nursing home

  • Betty Miller has taken another fall and in pretty rough shape. She has other health issues also.

  • Sue Scott has a possible torn meniscus and is in pain

  • Darla Bayles is doing much better

  • Eddie Miller’s grandson, Dylan, has requested prayer for his friend, Tyler Finley who has brain tumors. Please remember this young man. (Tyler’s address - 111 Township Dr., Hendersonville, TN 37075)

  • Joyce Easton’s brother, Randy Williams had a heart attack recently and is home recuperating - remember him in prayer

  • Marty Thornton is back at Shawnee Senior Living and doing much better

  • Johnie Thornton is still recovering from the stroke he recently had

  • Remember the family of Lisa Marie Hall

  • Raynesha, 31 (Lori Gelgut’s co-worker’s daughter) had surgery in March and having serious complications

  • James O’Connor (friend of Caryn Humphrey) is in the hospital burn unit from an accident

  • Bootsie Moore is having some upcoming tests

  • Jonette's daughter, Tina Alyea and son, Ryland are needing prayers

  • Kati Gunter's grandma has stage 4 colon and lung cancer

  • Brenda Wallace's sister, Jeanie is in need of prayers.

  • Caryn Humphrey’s brother, Carl Irby is home but still needs prayer

  • John Hester still needs prayer

  • Ray Ward (Linda Ellery's brother) is in the VA Hospital with hospice care

  • Kim Fanning's dad, Jim Neisz will have treatments for 5 weeks

  • Susie Tanner’s granddaughter, Ava needs prayers for God to intervene in her life

  • Melissa Knoles needs prayers for healing

  • Don Johnson had a stroke and needs prayer

  • Lee O'Keefe's granddaughter Celeste lives in Bahrain off the coast of Saudi Arabia - continued prayers for safety for her and her family

  • Nathan Elders' co-worker is 18 years old and received a cancer diagnosis.
