WELCOME OUR NEW PASTOR!

Pastor Corey and MaryLynn Black Kolton and Noah

Lone Oak Baptist Church Family,

After much prayer, patience, and seeking God’s direction over the past 19 months, we are excited to share that God has led us to our new pastor. This has been a long journey filled with many hours of prayer, meetings, conversations, and careful consideration by the Pastor Search Committee.
We want to thank our church family for your faithfulness, encouragement, and prayers throughout this process. We also want to recognize the dedication of the Pastor Search Committee, who spent countless hours reviewing candidates, listening to sermons, conducting interviews, and seeking God’s wisdom every step of the way.
This was never simply about finding “a pastor,” but about seeking the man God had prepared to shepherd our church in this season. We truly believe God has answered our prayers and has been faithful to guide us.
As we welcome our new pastor and his family, we ask the church to continue praying — for them, for our congregation, and for unity as we move forward together in ministry. We are excited about what God has ahead for our church and look forward to serving Him together.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
