PENNY MARCH TODAY! All kids that are interested, please line up in the hallway by 10:20 a.m. to present collected donations (change or bills welcome). The money collected is sent to Ecuador to help purchase snacks and materials for their AWANA program. (A-Approved W-Workmen A-Are N-Not A-Ashamed)

SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETING - Join us every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. in the sanctuary for a time of prayer before Sunday School. Everyone is welcome to come and pray with us.

END TIME REVELATION REVEALED BIBLE STUDY WITH JAKE WHITT - The weekly Bible study has been completed and monthly meetings will begin sometime in November. Date and time will be announced.

House for Hope Volunteers Needed the week of October 12th-16th! Please sign the sheet on table in foyer.

Ladies Shopping Trip to Fairview Heights - Saturday, October 17th. Leaving the church parking lot at 7:30 a.m. and returning by 6:00 p.m. They will be taking the bus. Please sign the sheet on table in foyer.

PASTOR APPRECIATION - After the evening service on Sunday, October 18th, join us in the Fellowship Hall to celebrate Pastor Corey and MaryLynn for “Pastor Appreciation”. We will have cake and coffee and if anyone would like to bring a finger food or dessert that would be great too. There will also be a basket in the foyer for anyone that would like to give them a card.

Ladies Retreat - Marriage Supper of the Lamb - Friday, October 23rd from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. and will be held at the church. Please bring a finger food or dessert and remember to wear a white shirt.

LADIES WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY meets every Tuesday morning in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. taught by Sandy McCluskie. All ladies are invited and encouraged to attend!

There will be a container in the foyer of the church for white sheets if anyone has any they no longer use and would like to donate them for the Ladies Retreat. Thank you!

  • Retha Smith will be having a total knee replacement on November 2nd

  • MaryLynn Black will be having surgery on her ear in St. Louis on March 5th

  • Nathan Elders' co-worker is 18 and doing better and cancer is in remission!

  • Kimberly Fanning had a heart cath and they found no blockages!

  • Jerry Glasco was discharged Friday, Oct. 2nd and will start home health on Monday

  • Avolene, Carl and Amanda Harris’ daughter has been home for 2 weeks and is off all restrictions and back to normal activities. They had a follow-up in St. Louis on Friday

  • Gail McClure and Dee Martin’s Aunt Geneva passed away last week - Remember her 3 children and their families

  • Gail McClure and Dee Martin’s sister passed away unexpectedly - remember their family

  • Teresa Brandon (Brother Ralph and Sister Barbara’s daughter-in-law) has been diagnosed with cancer. Cancer markers are coming down!

  • Kay & Ed Penninger’s great-granddaughter, Willow who is 5 years old, fell and broke and dislocated her arm and was taken to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. She had surgery and came through great! She will be wearing a cast for 3-4 weeks.

  • Jan Swiatkowski will not need laser surgery since the pressure in her eyes are down! She goes back to the doctor in three months

  • Ed and Kay Penninger’s son, Greg, had open heart surgery Wednesday, September 30th for 4 blocked arteries and the surgery went very well. He will be in the hospital for 4-6 days

  • John Hester was recently diagnosed with leukemia and finished the first round of chemo treatments and didn’t have to get blood. Continue to pray for improvement

  • Jay and April Maggart’s granddaughter, Charlotte, was born and had open heart surgery and everything went well. She will be in ICU for 4 weeks

  • Shelley Wilson’s mother, Jeanie Dunning, suffered a stroke and is in St. Louis hospital.

  • Jody Penninger has cancer on her lip

  • Marilynn Hertz’s cousin, Betty Schleifer Lathim needs prayer for guidance for her husband Mark who has Parkinson’s and for future decisions

  • Nathan Elders had knee surgery and he is doing well

  • Zack Johnson’s best friend has a one year old, Keller, and he is home from hospital and will be starting new treatment for eczema

  • Retta Schaffer has vertigo and is doing much better

  • Bill Bird has eye cancer

  • Betty Miller has some upcoming appointments

  • Tom DeChristina is going through cancer treatment

  • Ron Wood not doing well and needs prayer

  • Mike Elders’ brother-in-law, and step-mom are fighting cancer. Hospice has been called in for his step-mom

  • Bob Dirden had to have his toes and foot removed back to the ball of his foot.

  • Aaron Siebert’s mom, Michelle, is still having some health problems

  • Gary Frankie is still having problems with infection in his leg. Please pray for complete healing

  • Janice Griffith is having severe pain due to sciatica. Also will see Lymphedema doctor for her arm.

  • Rob and Kim Pierce are facing 4 major surgeries in the next 3 months

  • Carl Cox has lung cancer

  • Kim Brand (Daughter of Kenneth and Gloria Cowan) has been diagnosed with cancer in her blood

  • Prayers for Malena Evans, Tara Carpenter, Brian Sullivan, Brianna Sullivan, Madison Sullivan

  • Marty Thornton and Johnie Thornton

  • Kati Gunter's grandma has stage 4 colon and lung cancer

  • Brenda Wallace's sister, Jeanie is in need of prayers.

  • Ray Ward (Linda Ellery's brother) is in the VA Hospital with hospice care

  • Susie Tanner’s granddaughter, Ava needs prayers for God to intervene in her life

  • Lee O'Keefe's granddaughter Celeste lives in Bahrain off the coast of Saudi Arabia - continued prayers for safety for her and her family

  • Brenda Miller is still in need of a kidney
